CAD models for more than 16,000 components in a single app New mobile download service from KIPP for Android and iOS |

HEINRICH KIPP WERK has now made available, as a downloadable application for mobile devices, the CAD data for its entire range of products. This functional app, which been developed for use with the Android and iOS operating systems, is available on the web – via both Google and Apple – under the search term “KIPP app”. Design engineers and buyers in the mechanical engineering, plant construction and vehicle manufacturing sectors now have direct, free-of-charge access to more than 16,000 part references.
The new app uses data from the tried-and-tested KIPP database. It contains 2D and 3D data for the models concerned, in all the most common CAD-file formats. The 3D CAD models, which conform to international standards, are available for the CAD systems most commonly used. Users can configure the CAD models to their individual requirements. Special 3D glasses allow the product to be viewed in three dimensions, and it can also be rotated through 360° and magnified using the zoom function. All CAD data can be sent as simple e-mail attachments.
The KIPP app is available in three languages. Language selection is carried out automatically, by detecting the language version of the user’s operating system. |
